Lewis and Clark Community College Honors Project

Being part of Honors College at Lewis and Clark gave me an opportunity to work on this project throughout the semester. The idea behind this project was to create a model size canoe using the methods of the Native American Indians as much as possible. With the help of my family and my mentor, Joe McFarlane, this project was made possible. It was such an amazing experience, and through this process I found a new appreciation for tools that are available to us today.

A Step in Her Shoe

3D Design became one of my favorite classes while at Lewis and Clark Community College. This was a ceramic project, and I created a replica of my mother’s moccasin, that she passed on to me. The real struggle in this piece was creating the fringes and creating a matching color.
